OBD Fusion will tell you whether your vehicle is ready for emissions testing. OBD Fusion includes a built-in database of emission readiness standards for your vehicle year and US state. You won't be caught off-guard when you take your vehicle in for inspection.

Read and Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) help pinpoint the exact cause of faults in the vehicle. OBD Fusion will read diagnostic trouble codes and provide a description from its built-in database of codes.
- Confirmed Codes are set when a fault has been continuously active for a specific monitoring routine and is matured enough in the current operation cycle.
- Pending Codes become active only if a fault reoccurs a certain number of times in a certain number of drive cycles. The number of reoccurrences and the number of drive cycles depends on the fault.
- Permanent Codes are confirmed codes that cannot be cleared using a scan tool. Permanent codes will be cleared by the vehicle when the vehicle detects that the fault causing the code is no longer occurring.
- Historical Codes are indicated when a DTC is not pending, confirmed, or current, but the associated DTC test has completed and failed at least once since codes were last cleared.
- Clear Codes functon allows you to clear diagnostic fault codes and turn off the Check Engine Light once the fault has been fixed.
I/M Readiness
Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) Readiness displays the status of the readiness monitors for all OBD2 compliant modules, letting you know if your vehicle is ready for emissions inspection.
- Readiness Standard selection allows you to select the year and jurisdication for readiness requirements (US only).
- Emissions Testing indicator clearly displays whether the vehicle is ready for emissions testing.
- MIL Status indicator displays whether an emissions-related module is commanding the MIL (Check Engine Light) to illuminate.
- Test Results are clearly displayed for each emission-related module, letting you know exactly which of the 11 readiness monitors have completed the test.
Read and Display Freeze Frames
A Freeze Frame captures that state of various sensors when a malfunction occurs, providing valuable information about the conditions when the fault occurred.
- Diagnostic Trouble Code that caused the malfunction to occur is displayed with each freeze frame.
- Sensor Values are displayed for each freeze frame, providing a snapshot of the state of the vehicle when the fault occurred.
- First and Latest Occurrence freeze frames are displayed for vehicles that use UDS for diagnostics.
Customizable Dashboards
Create your own dashboards with fully stylable gauges and built-in gauge tempates.
- Dashboards provide the ability to configure and display PIDs (sensors) using various gauge types.
- Gauge Style Editor allows complete and custom styling of each gauge, including the gauge layout and colors.

Real-Time Graphing

Diagnostic Reports can be captured and stored, providing a history of your vehicle health. A diagnostic report includes the I/M Readiness status, Trouble Codes, Freeze Frames, On-Board Test and Oxygen Sensor Test Results, Vehicle Information including calibration IDs, calibration verification numbers and info types. Diagnostic reports can be stored, printed, and exported, so that you can easily track and share critical diagnostic information.
On-Board Monitoring displays the detailed results about the vehicle component tests. Tests include Oxygen Sensors (Exhaust Gas Monitors), EVAP, Misfire, Fuel System, Catalyst and many others. The test value and value range is displayed for each test ID, along with a simple pass/fail indicator that you can see at a quick glance.
The PID Values page displays real-time PID values in a data grid format. You fully configure the PIDs that you want to view. PIDs included in OBD Fusion are SAE PIDs, Calculated PIDs, Trip PIDs, Fuel PIDs, EV PIDs, User-Defined PIDs (Pro add-on required), and Enhanced PIDs (Enhanced add-on required). The data grid displays the current PID value as well as the min, max, average, and unit. PID units are customizable, with support for both English and Metric units.
